Settled amongst the rolling South Shropshire countryside in the picturesque village of Clunton is the Crown Inn. A traditional village pub, The Crown has an excellent reputation for both its food and beers.

Spring 2024

Where is the sunshine? Spring has sprung, soon be time for sharing platters.

The daffodils are out so it must be Easter, we just need the wonderful weather to come join us.

At the end of March we have Easter and for Saturday lunch and on Bank Holiday Monday, we are
serving our sharing platters, no need to book just come along and bring the sun.

Good Friday we have fish and chips on but booking is essential.

Blaine has written several exciting menus but since he does all the preparation and service by
himself, we do need advance bookings, this ensures less wastage and a happy Chef. If, sadly, we do
not have any bookings, the kitchen will not open.

First Thursday of the month sees the ever popular Burger Night and the first weekend of the month we
run our Set Menu.

May brings us two more bank holidays and two more opportunities to enjoy our sharing platters,
hopefully in the beer garden surrounded by sunshine.

Our menus are available online or by phoning the pub.

Blaine and Michelle.

In the bar we have got the usual pub snacks and salami from Shropshire Salumi! The cask ales, Hobsons Best and Ludlow Gold, Stonehouse and Wye Valley have been proving popular, so come on in and say hello. Have a look at out At The Bar page for more information.

To get the latest on what’s going on, why not like the new Facebook page, where we will be sharing updates.
